Once the barn was empty and ranger Peter (my boss) arrived we headed over to Kidstones Farm for a visit with tenant farmer Chris Akrigg. Ready and waiting, Chris welcomed us with his broad and generous smile. The group was introduced to the animals in the barns as Chris explained the differences of each and his son's interest in cattle genealogy and breeding. There was a little quiet interest in Chris's sons which was dashed when he confirmed they were all spoken for. Chris Akrigg and sheep talk to us all. The girls gained lots of confidence in being around farm animals as the visit progressed and were delighted to see some new lambs in the field. The check in was good I was able to check in at 11 which was nice, easy self check in with a code and the apartment is totally separate with a key so we have total privacy for us. The bathroom was quite big with a Bathtub, amazing size for a studio apartment in London. Kitchen was clean, had a nice chairs and table to have food with TV that had Netflix so made good use while lunch. Bedroom was really nice with double bed, a cupboard, iron, a lamp, two side tables plenty of storage space.
